Update #33. Print at Home version and Team Status

Hello, Raiders of the Maze.

We are happy to announce that the Print at Home version of the Maze is almost ready and will be sent to our backers in the following days  We had to delay it because of the COVID-19 situation. Fortunately, we can share with you that all our Team is well and healthy, but we had to take preventive actions and reorganizations that slow down our workflow.

For your patience we are grateful and we want to remind you that things may seem dark in the last weeks, If we collaborate and follow the health protocols, we will surpass this.

The PDF layout is also undergoing back and forth within the design team so that it captures the style of Maze while also being easy to print.

Update #32 Proofreading, The execution and Deep Nightly Fathoms

Hello, Raiders from the Maze:

We finally have the final text after editing and proofreading. With this in hand, we can prepare the print at home text for everyone and the layout of the PDFs. Our designer and layout artist is working hard on those parts of the project.

The execution.

We have more art for the book, in this case, the “Escaping the execution of the Black King” action shot by Halcabar el gato.

Awesome Zine quest project.

Duamn Figueroa, our cover artist is working on his own project for Zine Quest. If you liked his art and want to see more of his work consider backing the project.

Deep Nightly Fathoms is a role-playing game about exploring dark, dangerous dreamscapes inspired by the beautiful engravings of XIX century artist Gustave Doré.


Next steps.

We are working on the print at home text and will send it to you as soon as is ready.  The twelve components art is being worked on and we will show it to you when we have it.

Update #31 Back from editing and last steps

Hello, Raiders from the Maze:

It has been a long raid this one. We are happy to say that the text has gone to Proofreading, over 112,000 words with rules, chambers, monsters, and lore for everyone to enjoy. When we get the text we will prepare the print at home version so you can have it.

We also have new art for you, we are proud to say that the only art missing is the spot art of the twelve components that are going to be through the book.

Next steps.

After getting the final text we will start the layout of the PDF and Print on Demand book. As the spot art becomes available we will start adding it to the book.

Hello, Raiders.

Even in the darkest and unexplored regions of the Maze the last days of the year are for celebration and rest. And as a special gift for all of you that supported us this year here is a little spoiler of the art pieces from the book.
